Chris Pryce, CEBS

Chris Pryce is the Founder and President of Human Capital Benefits; a Canadian employee benefits advisory firm built on the principle that benefit plans should serve people first. A graduate of the University of British Columbia, Chris brings more than 30 years of dedicated experience in the employee benefits industry.

His career spans both the consulting and insurer sides of the market, beginning with several GTA-based advisory firms and later as an Account Executive with Canada Life Assurance Company. In 2008, Chris founded Ideal Benefits, which was rebranded in 2013 as Human Capital Benefits to better reflect the firm’s focus on human capital, long-term partnerships, and practical, high-impact solutions.

Today, following the successful integration of two firms and supported by a strong, experienced team managing client relationships, Human Capital Benefits is positioned for its next phase of growth. The firm delivers sophisticated advisory services with the agility, responsiveness, and personal attention of a boutique practice—often described internally as “a small firm for big benefits.”

Chris earned his Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation in 2001 and has been published in industry publications throughout his career. He has also served in advisory capacities for pharmaceutical and insurance organizations. His leadership is defined by a commitment to service excellence, disciplined growth, and helping organizations design benefit strategies that evolve with their workforce.
